Alright, The zip version has a bunch of other crud in it, but the way you install it is the same - a setup.exe which gives me the same error.
why does acer do this crap to their card/chipsets?! it stupid!
ALSO, i did the "Device manager> Display Adapters> Mobile Intel(r) 45 express chipset family> Update drivers> Select Driver update from computer"Then it says, when i select the drivers folder, "Windows has determined your drivers are up to date."
im pretty mad. Nothing Honsetly runs.... In fact... Half-life 1, WONT RUN WELL....
I used to have a PC worse than this one and everything ran way better. I believe its all because of acers terrible Bloatware and crap that wont let you update vital parts of your computer.
(before it broke, my windows XP (1gb ram) (single core 1.8Ghz) Ran Better!

Alright! I will try it. Sorry i was gone for a few days.
Alright, So, I disabled VBO's and Got JAVA 8 (Update 101) for windows7 64-Bit.
Same error occurs.....
I know that the graphics driver on this laptop is a "Company Customized" driver.... Could that be why? All of my other games work fine...
Im Using an Acer Aspire graphics driver.
Heres The DXDIAG info on it.
Uh....
it says
"This Computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software."
I think that the GMA chipset is an ACER custom version that cant be updated with intels Drivers.... i Guess....
idk, You tell me please...
I cant find a manual driver install....
uhg... im using Mobile intel 45 expresschipset...
Do you have any links for me?
i'd really appreciate it.
