My desktop has recently has an issue, and we probably will have to reset the computer. So my minecraft files will be deleted, but will I still receive full access to the minecraft game and account on a different desktop? I'm pretty sure it does but I just want a confirmation.
You can find all the Minecraft files that are saved on your computer by pressing WindowKey-R, and typing %APPDATA%. Find the .minecraft folder, and save that in a USB, or somewhere you can access it after you reset your computer. Once you have resettled your computer and reinstalled Minecraft, navigate to the new .minecraft folder that the installation of Minecraft makes, and replace that new .minecraft with the .minecraft you saved from your old computer. You should now have Minecraft as it was before, worlds, profiles, everything.

Curse PremiumIf you have an active account and bought the game, just download it on your new computer.

Your single player saves exist only on the computer they are on.
If you want to preserve them you have to copy them off that computer.

Thanks! I'll try it when I get home!
