This just started happening recently, and I haven't added any new mods before it began...
When I am in creative mode now, and I press my mouse wheel to clone a block I'm pointing at, when I try and place it it vanishes both in the world, as well as from my inventory. It seems rather random, as in, sometimes I can clone some blocks (stone for example) and place them fine, but then grass will not work, or stone stops working ... I haven't gone through and checked if it's just a few certain blocks, but it happens on a regular basis now with seemingly random results.
This is extremely frustrating as having to manually add blocks to my inventory to use them is very inconvenient when I'm working on a large build with many, many different types of blocks. I need to be able to copy/place them :/
Any suggestions? I've googled many different search terms to try and find an answer and no luck.
Well I don't know if this is exactly the same problem, but sometimes when I play modded and middle mouse click a block instead of it being placed in my hand, my entire hotbar is sent into my inventory. It must be a mod that does this. Again, I don't know if we are talking about the same problem, but maybe taking a peek in the "controls" settings will give you a clue.
No, not the same thing ... The block that I copy using the middle mouse button shows up in my hot bar, I can move it to inventory and then put it back in hot bar, but no matter what, when I try and place it in the world, it poofs as soon as I place it, and it's no longer in my inventory or hotbar.
Still having this issue, but noticed something further ... if I have a block in my hotbar already, say, a block of quartz, and I mouse wheel click to copy a block of chiseled quartz into that hotbar slot and attempt to place it in the world, the block vanishes, but the original quartz block re-appears in the hotbar slot.
This is driving me nuts.

Hi all,

Very odd
