Recently I purchased a new graphics card, an Nvidia GTX 750 ti. With this new graphics card, of course like any of us, I went crazy and downloaded all of the shaders, resource packs, and mods I could find. Up until installing the Mo' Bends mod for 1.10.2, I ran perfectly fine, at 60+ FPS. Now with this mod, I have been experiencing frequent lag spikes in most areas of the multiplayer server I play on. I have tried allocating more RAM to Minecraft, but nothing I do seems to be working, regardless of me enabling and changing JVM arguments. If you could help out, that would be great, it is becoming unbearable, and I really like the mod. Here are the details of my client and system:
Thanks, I'll try that. However, when I'm not having lag spikes, I do run around 70 FPS. They only happen in certain parts of the world, sometimes its normal, but sometimes I get hit with a lag spike and the world freezes for several seconds.
Hello everyone,
Recently I purchased a new graphics card, an Nvidia GTX 750 ti.
Specs:
(Will be in attachment)
Minecraft Client:
Minecraft 1.10.2-forge1.10.2-12.18.1.2080
Mods: ArrowCamMod, BetterPvP, Inventory Tweaks, Mo' Bends, Optifine, Xaero's Minimap, Xaero's World Map
Resource Pack (If it matters): John Smith Legacy
Shaders (Through Optifine): Sildur's Vibrant Shaders v1.153 High

Curse Premiumthere isn't much to tweak without turning down any graphic settings (apart from some optifine stuff in the "performance" section)
you might want to try betterfps, it's quite a good booster for some users.
anyways, keep in mind that most of these mods are prohibited on PvP servers, as they give you an unfair advantage.
Thanks, I'll try that. However, when I'm not having lag spikes, I do run around 70 FPS. They only happen in certain parts of the world, sometimes its normal, but sometimes I get hit with a lag spike and the world freezes for several seconds.
