I have been trying to increase the amount of ram that Minecraft is using. I recently got more ram and now I have 24 gigs or ram which is a lot, I went to change it and when into "Edit Profile" then under the "Java Setting (Advanced)" tab and I put in "-Xmx10240M -Xms10240M" which should make it use 10 gigs of ram. I log in and I cant even run a 512x512 texture even with a $300 graphics card. I can log in game and not crash its just extremely laggy and I don't know why... Please let me know!
I am pretty sure you are allocating your RAM in the wrong way. When you click on JVM arguments, the first few characters you should see is "-Xmx1G -XX". By default 1 Gigabyte of RAM is allocated to minecraft. I suggest you allocate no more than 4. Just change that number 1 to a 4. I hope you didn't delete all the JVM arguments by the way. Also 1024MB is not 10GB of RAM, it is 1GB. I believe at the end of JVM arguments, it should say 128M. I think that is how much RAM minecraft is allowed to use when first starting up a world, not the total amount of memory the game is allowed to use.

Curse PremiumFirst of all, the "more ram, less lag" myth is fake. Actually you can run Minecraft perfectly with 1gb of RAM if vanilla. (I suggest you to use 2gb).
Does your computer have a integrated graphics card + a dedicated one?
Which CPU are you using?
I need more information to help you!
Player p = Bukkit.getServer().getPlayerExact("Mr_Matwin3");
if (p.isAwesome){
Bukkit.BroadcastMessage(ChatColor.RED + "" + ChatColor.BOLD + "Mr_Matwin3 is awesome!");
}
else{
Bukkit.BroadcastMessage(ChatColor.RED + "" + ChatColor.BOLD + "I am still awesome! :P!");
}

If you're interested in an awesome, white-listed, pure vanilla server, consider applying!
