I'm sure you've heard people say it, but install OptiFine if possible. Optifine gives you a large assortment of settings to change for performance, quality, and more. Along with that, OptiFine also comes with optimized rendering, which increases FPS without massing with any other OptiFine settings. Another way to increase fps is to open the task manager, (left click the taskbar, click task manager) and go to the "Details" tab. From there, you should see 2 java.exe or 2 javaw.exe files. Left click each, go to set priority > high, on both. Although I would strongly recommend purchasing a new PC, some are unable to due to the fact they don't have enough money, on a budget, etc. Other than that, as a low power PC player, you should do best by doing both of these recommendations above, and optimizing your Minecraft settings. For example, if you play on render distance 16, lower it somewhere around 5. Forgot to mention, OptiFine also comes with a customizable screen resolution. Lowering the resolution of the screen can further Improve Minecraft FPS. Here's basically what I'm trying to say. If you have a poorly performing PC, you need to sacrifice settings and quality for best performance. Other than that, there's nothing much else that you can do. Anyways, hoped this helped, and good luck to you for reaching 60FPS!
