Hello! Whenever my friend logs into a server he always get the invalid session message. We restarted minecraft, reinstalled minecraft, it just would not log in. Does anyone have an idea that can fix this?
You may need to refresh your login session. To do this, click "Switch Users" in the launcher, and logout. After this, log back in, and try the game again.
He brought the mc account using a gift card at target or whatever. It worked perfectly fine until Mojang started recognizing him as a demo account and a fake account or whatever. Btw, he got the gift card because of an issue with the credit card. So his friend then brought him the account and gave him the username and password. The account his friend got him is the one with the invalid session issue. I will tell him to try to reboot.

By the way, the username is UniversalNation and we tried switching from 1.8.9 to 1.10.2

I will try that again but it always logs him in as a demo and then I have to go through a whole bunch of things thanks for helping.
Did he do these:
Reboot Computer
Did he buy the account?

issue solved, his account got refunded by the bank for no reason. He will just get a new acc.
