I haven't played MC in a long time and back then installing Optifine was just click-and-drag and this time it doesn't work like that for me. I've tried LiteLauncher, Forge (forge is problematic imo the only mod i wanna put in is optifine), but the fact that I'm playing the CRACKED VERSION doesn't help.
I don't think any extra info is necessary but I'm welcome to provide anything else needed.

Well step one is not not use a cracked version. And Optifine is a stand alone mod that can work without Forge.
