I recently assembled a modpack of my own, and I'm wondering if, somewhere in all of the config files, I missed an option that would allow me to disable the flickering effect that you get from the Night Vision buff wearing off.
I know that the flickering is a vanilla feature, but it's probably one of the most annoying things in the game (in my opinion at least) and I'd like to find a way to turn it off.
In this specific case, the flickering effect that I get comes from equipping the Bat backpack from the Adventure Backpack mod. When equipped, it applies 2 seconds of Night Vision to your character and reapplies it every 2 seconds.
While I could easily leave a bug report to this specific mod developer asking him/her to fix this, I'd rather find a way to disable Night Vision's flickering effect globally--hence the creation of this thread.
If there is no config option for the flickering effect, is there a 1.7.10-compatible mod I could download that disables--or at least changes--it?
If not: where can I put in a request to have one of you amazing mod devs out there make one?
