I play on 1.10.2 and have the latest versions of Forge and Optifine. I can access the shaderpacks folder just fine, and when I put in zip files I can see the Shader pack options in the menu. However, when I select a Shader option, it simply wouldn't change my world at all. No error messages. Just plain not working.
There is exactly one Shader that I have gotten to work: the Sildur's Vibrant Shaders. None of the other Sildur Shaders would work, nor would any version of SFLP or Chocapic's original Shaders.
I play on a Late 2015 iMac that has the Intel Iris Pro Graphics 6200, which is not ideal for high quality Shaders, I know, but since I have gotten the Sildur Vibrant Shaders to work for me I think I should be able to get a couple other shaders to work as well. Does anyone have any idea to what my problem could be, or what I could try to get the other Shaders to work? Any help would be appreciated
Well I'm not looking to use higher end Shader packs, I'm looking to use *some* Shaders, and one of which is confirmed to work on my computer. I have no idea why other, smaller Shaders by the same person would not work though, and I don't think it's a graphics card issue.
Neither of Sildur's other Shaders, the Enhanced Default and the Basic (not the version that specifically states to be incompatible with Macs), would work for me.
It shows up in the in-game Shader selections, but when I select it and go back to my game, everything is default.
When I select the Shader pack that do work, there's a bit of a lag both when I select it, and when I select away from it. The lag doesn't happen when I select between two Shaders that don't work.
The <internal> Shader option also appears to not work, but I'm not sure if that is even supposed to work.
It was, but I compressed them again before throwing them into the shaderpacks folder.
And no, no error messages or anything. There was one shader that would give me error messages and the display was all weird, which I assumed it was "working" but not compatible with my computer, which is fine. Most stuff just don't do anything.

Thanks.
