Just some questions about modding on minecraft Java edition.
Please answer my questions in the following order in a numbered list.
1:Can i play on a vanilla LAN game or server if i use Forge with only client mods installed?
2:Can i play on a vanilla LAN game or server if i use Forge with any mod at all?
3:Can i play on a vanilla LAN game or server if i use Forge at all?
4:Can i play on a modded LAN game or server in vanilla?
5:What other rules are there for modding on LAN games?(I don't play on servers often)
You can obviously see that I want to ask people who have done all the above before i set out to accidentally crash my Minecraft(or even my computer). If you would like to share more info, please leave it below the specified list.
P.S. I'm asking for this format to make my life a bit easier and to not have to make multiple posts for related questions.
Generally,you can use optifine,texture/shader packs,hack clients or mods that improve your experience.
Mods that adds ADDITIONAL ITEMS OR ENVIRONMENTS are of course unable to join vanilal servers cuz the server don't have the items that you have installed.

So just making sure, can you use mods that say they are client side on their Curse page if it requires forge?
