Hey guys, recently I've been trying to log into minecraft, but failing to do so.
I have entered all the correct details, I have tried deleting minecraft and re-downloading it and I have tried changing my password to no avail.
I'm using a macbook air from 2013, the larger of the two sizes if that makes any difference.
For some reason, the launcher won't let me in, saying that there is either a connection issue or mincraft is blocked. However, my internet is working perfectly, and I have turned it on and off already, and my firewall is turned off, and I have no anti-virus downloaded, so It mustn't be blocked.
Please see the attached images, I have no idea what to do.
This is a topic that had the same issues maybe something there would help. Have you tried the alternative launcher to see if it works? I believe the Linux version works on Macs too.
In that topic it appeared to be caused by the way antivirus software handling the scanning of certificates.

Do you have a Mojang account or a Minecraft account, and which one are you signing in with?

Yes, I have a minecraft and mojang account. I can log into my mojang account, and I know for sure that I'm using the correct login details.

Curse PremiumMake sure nothing is blocking minecraft? Allow the services for your firewall and any antivirus programs.
