I just got a new gaming computer and shaders are WAY more laggy than they should. I have a 6600k and a 980 Ti. In 720p resolution, Sonic Ether's Unbelievable Shaders + Faithful 64x pack runs at about 50 FPS most of the time, rarely ever dropping below 40, which is okay, but not preferred, plus, it puts a huge stress on my GPU, usually at 99% load. Now obviously at 1080p, I usually get a nice cinematic 30 FPS, which would be nice if I were in the theatre, but I'm not.Seriously, I don't know if there's a huge problem with optimization, but it just seems too laggy. Just to give you some reference, I can run Black Ops 3 on ultra at a smooth 60 FPS in either resolution, and probably in 1440p as well.
All I'm asking for is some help. If I spend $900 on a computer, I expect to get Minecraft, of all things, looking amazing. I want some help making it run better. And if you were wondering, I do have Optifine and I was running the shader at max. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can offer!
