In Minecraft 1.8.9 or any older version, everything runs fine in 60fps for the most part. But when I switch to 1.9 or any later version, it's unplayable (1-5 fps). Lowering all of the graphics settings doesn't change anything and it lags just as badly on the title screen. My point is that it doesn't seem to have anything to do with system requirements since (to my knowledge) 1.9 isn't so much more intensive that it causes THAT much of a drastic drop in performance, even on the title screen. All of this has been on the same computer. I do have the latest update of Java 8. I feel like I'm not giving much info, but I can't think of anything else to check or try. So is there anything about 1.9 and 1.10 that might be causing this?
I'm using an Intel Integrated GPU (HD Graphics 4400) and the "Read before Posting" thread said that was problematic. I installed the latest drivers, set VBO/Vsync to on and I tried allocating more RAM (2GB instead of 1), but nothing changed. Is it possible that this could be the major reason?
I don't have a crash log because it never crashed but sometimes this exception comes up when I pause with Esc. I doubt this is significant at all, but I figured I might as well throw it in since it's the only weird thing that ever came up on the log.
