Whenever i open Minecraft and play it for 20 mins or so, it runs fine. After that the fps starts to go up and down randomly and causes my game to freeze every few seconds. I have no idea why it's doing this. My Java is up to date, so i'm pretty sure that's not the issue.
I have a few Mods installed, but none of them have ever caused me freezing problems before. I'm also running 1.7.10.
Computer Stuffs if you wanted to know:
Processor: Intel (R) Pentium (R) CPU G4400
Installed RAM: 4GB
System Type: 64- bit operating system, x64 based processor
I'm a complete noob when it comes to computers so i don't know if there was anything else i should add to that.
If anyone could help, that would be awesome. If you want to know anymore about my computer, just tell me. Knowing me, i probably left something out.
If you're running Windows open Windows Task Manager, click on "More details" at the bottom of the window (Win 10 version), click processes tab then the CPU column so it shows the highest usage at the top.
That should show you what's eating processor time.
I have a Minecraft world open but in inventory and with the window minimized and Java is still using over 30% of my processor time.
Closing the world but leaving Minecraft running dropped Java down to 4%.

In most cases this in result memory using by minecraft near max allowed memory. Freezes created by memory garbage collector activations. Look in launcher setting for minecraft start option -Xmx*** and increase value

If you have questions about the maps I post as attachments or Amidst and the like read this thread:
