**I am quite new to MCPC and forums so please point out anything I'm doing wrong

I downloaded optifine about a week ago. I really liked it, no lag and I could zoom in and out etc. I found out they had capes and I went a bout one two days ago. Since then, I have had major lag spikes that have lasted up to about 30 secs, I keep on crashing with the same message(screenshot below).

I have tried uninstalling and deleting all data the redownloading, turning fps up and down, and clearing storage on my pc for it to be faster. None of it made a difference.

Please help? Did the cape effect it or is it something else??

I ended up playing for 5-10 mins, I don't know. Anyways, it wasn't as laggy but while I went in a game of SG I lagged twice (everything around me was frozen but i could move)for about 15 seconds, then on the 3rd time I crashed with the same message.

That sounds like a problem with your connection to the server, does the same thing happen in single player?

I shall try. However just a few days ago it wasn't like this (i have only been playing on the same server 2wks to lvl up etc)? How can I fix it if it is a connection problem?

Something is interfering with the game's network connection. Likely your router or Firewall. Almost impossible to troubleshoot remotely.

We don't know your setup. it might be something in the Firewall. The Router. Maybe it's your ISP. Ir it might be a problem on the server itself.
