My actual topic might be a bit different from the title here.. The question I actually wanted to ask is if you need the JDK to use JVM, but I wasn't sure how to word that. I remember someone telling me once that I did and now that I've uninstalled both versions of Java on my computer and reinstalled only the JRE from the latest version, my JVM commands aren't working. I have 16GB of RAM available on my computer, but the launcer/JVM won't even let me allocate 2GB.
How do I fix this?
