After about half an hour of playing, Minecraft will become unresponsive with the message "Java Platform SE Binary has stopped working" or something along those lines. It barely started to happen yesterday, but it has happened 3 times just today. The prompt will give me the option of either closing the program or to wait for it to respond. Choosing either option will close the prompt, but Minecraft stays open and unresponsive no matter how much time is elapsed or how many times you click "X". The only thing I've put onto Minecraft is Optifine.

Ok. First, what version of Java are you using? Also, logs please (Via pastebin, preferably).
Also, if it doesn't do the crash without Optifine, then use a newer version of Optifine, and older one, or just remove it all together and get a different FPS mod.
There are no logs as Minecraft does not crash, but it just remains unresponsive. A reboot is necessary in order to close the unresponsive Minecraft window.
I'll try using an older version of OptiFine as I am using the latest. If the problem persists, I'll try another FPS mod.
