I recently installed the 'Sonic Ether's Unbelievable Shaders' pack, along with the R3D Craft 256x texture pack, and they have killed my fps, almost completely. Though this is not my only concern. My PC has an i7-4790K processor, along with a GTX 1070 GPU and 16 gigs of ddr3-1600 RAM. With this setup in Minecraft, I only managed to get 144 fps. I have tried the advice given on this forum, to no avail. Does anyone have any other tips for boosting my framerate? Secondly, are there any tips towards getting a higher fps count with shaders activated? I understand that a jump in frames is expected, but the shader pack alone drops my frames from 144 to 15-23 (depending on movement).
