I can play minecraft 1.8 and below with decent fps. There are no problems. As soon as I try and play 1.9 or above i lag to all hell. 2 fps in the main menu alone. However if i download 32 bit java and run 1.9 and above on 32 bit java then i can get back up to some what decent fps. The thing is i need the extra ram from 64 bit java. Does anyone know what causes this or what i can do to fix it?
Yea i am not lagging in 1.8. I do lag in 1.9 and above, unless i run minecraft with 32 bit java then i am able to play 1.9. I would like to be able to use 64 bit though.

I got confused.
You are not lagging on version 1.8 and below. But on 1.9 and above you are lagging? You got 32 bit java on a 64 bit computer? - Please explain!
