I'm getting random disconnects from the server I play on, with the following message:
IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host [/i][/b]
Client is 1.10.2, server too. I can connect just fine, and everything
seems smooth until I suddenly get disconnected. It happens irregularly,
but most of the time I can play for about 20-30 minutes in between
disconnects. Other times as soon as I am disconnected I try to rejoin and
get disconnected repeatedly, sometimes only able to play for seconds in
a single go.
I never had this issue before with earlier versions of Minecraft, like 1.10, but I can't connect to my friends' realms if I use one of the earlier versions.
My Java is up to date, I'm on Windows 10 (64bit) with an otherwise very stable connection.
I've looked elsewhere and on these forums, but the only threads
mentioning this error message are about outdated clients not being able
to connect at all.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
