Alright so starting off. this is the best forum area I could find. So don't make fun of me for being here lol I am tired and I want my stuff back. Alright so I use Impact 2.5 and I play on a server known as 9b9t (its vanilla anarchy). I went out pretty far and died when I logged on because of fall damage even though I didn't fall. Anyway I didnt set my bed or take a screenshot because uk I wasn't expecting to die randomly and I wanted sleep irl lol. I set my bed about 700k ish away and I know the coords on the nether roof to about 10,000 blocks of where the portal may be. I downloaded the world and I am searching but there must be an easier way to find the portal. Like I downloaded mc edit with hopes that you could simply expand the grid and load the map so I could search for the black dots on the bedrock but MCedit confuses the hell out of me and every tutorial I find looks completely different. My objective here is to simply find this nether portal so I can run there and set my bed. I have the world downloaded so there must be some way to filter for those obsidian blocks. Also if there is a more suitable location for this issue please link and I will post there. This is the best place I could think of. I know I am stupid or whatever for being a nub but I died randomly and I didnt want my stuff to despawn while I install a map mod to see coords. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.
