When me and my brother want to play in a LAN world we cannot join. IT takes forever for it to connect and when I join it says
"java.net.ConnectException:Connection timed out: no information". Meanwhile we have the same wifi network, firewall allows minecraft for private and public for both of our computers. Same version of Java. Two different premium accounts.
Find the IP for your or his computer and use direct connect (eg. 192.168.1.116:56425) So it's IP:PORT (the port will be supplied by the client{In Chat})
That doesn't work either. We try to host LAN on both of our computers but still doesn't work. We use our IP4 address and the port number but nothing works. Our router is not the problem either. Since 1.10 LAN stopped working.
IPv4 And normal ips are diffrent. Google what is my IP and that's the up you use. For example it might be 192.173.193.108 and I add the port and connect
