I recently constructed a new mod pack that me and my friends are able to run through the Technic launcher, and realized I needed a forge server instead of using a pre-made server package that you would usually use if you made a server for any of the official Technic packs. So i went off and made my forge 1.7.10 server, then ran the forge 1.7.10 universal java file to start my server. It booted up all fine, loaded up all the mods and everything, and then when i loaded up my game using my modpack and joined the server, everything was extremely laggy and choppy. I checked quickly in creative to see that all the mods loaded fine, which they did, so i left the game to try and fix the lag but im not sure how. Im assuming the lag is because the server is launching through a custom version of the minecraft server client instead of running the server through a .bat file where i can edit the amount of memory the server is consuming (usually i set it between 1000m and 100m). Also, when I went to my task manager it showed that the server client was using 100% of my CPU, and my memory was flickering constantly. So my question is, will making my server launch through a .bat file / reducing the allowed memory help my servers condition? and if so, how to i make a .bat file to do so.

Curse PremiumDepending on the cpu running the servers depends on how it is able to load. Modded servers cause a lot of load.
