When I try to install the latest Minecraft.app from minecraft.net it hangs at 59.24 MB and never reaches the end. I left it running over night and it never finished. The error I get is "Unable to update the Minecraft Native Launcher" The older version used to work and now I can't get anything to work.

I would appreciate any help I can get. My son is upset that it's not working anymore and I have no idea how to resolve this issue.
