When i logged on today, I noted this issue, and I have never seen it before. The ground is effected by the light in day and night. It seems to create very strong waves in the blocks which looks very ugly. Also, the glass seems to be far to reflective. Please help.
you are seeing the moire effect from the repeated patterns of the blocks, it can't be fixed as there is nothing wrong with the game, its just the way our eyes work with repeating patterns

the repeated pattern of the block filtered through the repeated pattern of the screen pixels.
various video settings may increase or decrease the effect. (mipmapping, antialiasing, anisotropic filtering)
