I have a big modpack and whenever I start it up after about 2 minutes it uses up all of my ram and then freezes for about 1-2 minutes before doing it again in half the time. I'm allocating 27 gigs so something is definitely wrong. I've tried allocating 3 gigs but then I would hit the ram limit almost instantly and have horrible lag spikes every half second. If I do 15 Gigs than it basically does exactly what the other two did but in the middle. In about 30-1 minute There would be a giant lag spike when the ram hit max and then stops for about 30 seconds and then happen again sooner. Also, whenever there is a big ram deletion any other person in my lan world would get kicked.

I changed over to multimc and moved over some folders from my pack but the same problem seems to occur, I have to put it up to like 25 gigs before its playable.
Edit:I did put the original arguments that you said to do but minecraft wouldn't even load. I tried doubling min and max ram and it loaded but deleted ram every 2 seconds for another 5 seconds. Whatever the problem is, It doesn't seem like curses fault.

Well its insanely slow to start so I will wait until the game loads or crashes. I didn't mean it got stuck, it just got very very slow at loading at one point so I assumed it was stuck.

Umm I just checked the text and in both text walls there is -XX:+AggressiveOpts -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy and Maximum and minimum at the respective 4 gigs and 1 gig and perm size is at 256 MB too. Do CTRL+F and look for -XX:+AggressiveOpts -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy

The ram problems that I'm having though are so bad that with my 200+ mod-pack it will never load if I put 4 gigs maximum, I have to allocate more just so the game loads. That is why I'm here, because this bad of a ram problem shouldn't be happening. BTW I'm not impatient because I put 4 gigs on the mod pack and even after 20 minutes of waiting It doesn't even get past 2/7 on the forge loading screen while it takes like 3 minutes If I put 10 gigs maximum or more.
This isn't my computer either, my graphics card is a recently new gtx 980 and I have a 3 and a half GHz processor. One of the mods or something is causing the ram to be like this and I wan't to figure out which one is doing it.

Hmm don't really want to trial and error every mod especially saying that every time I have to wait 10-15 minutes to see if it even helped or not
But for sure there aren't any mods that I have that would be causing this issue or do you at the least know what mods could cause this because I don't want to go through like 160 mod jars to figure it out

Got rid of mystcraft, biomes of plenty, twilight forest, and runic dungeons. Trying again, also got rid of the mekanism mod development kit, don't know how that got in there. And using the same settings as you said.

Tried again with double the min and max ram allocation but after 2-3 minutes it froze every second and it froze for 3-4 seconds so basically its unplayable, I wish there was a way to tell which mod uses a lot of your ram up.
The only thing I can think of is a problem with RAM itself. Are you able by any chance to deinstall all your RAM from the motherboard and try someone else's/a different set of RAM? Just to see if this is the problem.

Ok thought Xmn meant perm size which was a variable in the settings, trying again.
Ok I let it load for 20 minutes and it never got past 2/7 on the top bar. Heres the console log:http://paste.ee/p/cy3Jp
You shouldnt spend more than 4G on your modpacks 15 is way too high all of your ram will just go to dumps

Will looking in the logs and fixing them help with the ram issues or is this just a problem I'm just gonna have to endure myself?

Progress has been made, it went to 4/7 and it got stuck on buildcraft.

Got rid of decocraft, some biblocraft addons, and customizable armor. Trying Again to see if it loads with 4 gigs max
It helped, minecraft loaded and and I even loaded a world but then after that it froze after I was in the game.

That crash happened with exit code -805306369, which means it ran out of memory. Still the same issue.
Dang really need to know what's cause all of the memory to be eaten up so fast.
