I've been working on an adventure map and when I was halfway done, the world wasn't on the MC world menu. I sure as hell didn't delete it and it's still in the 'saves' file. It's making me kinda mad since it's happened two times. When I just started and when I was halfway to completing it.
If its in your saves folder, can you open it? Does it look like a normal world? Sometimes you can accidentally zip a world and minecraft doesn't detect it. All you need to do in that case is take the world folder out of the zipped one. I hope this helps!

Hi try MCedit and open your world and change something small like block, save it and try again or use nbt explorer to find some thing wierd.

I tried both but none worked. Thank you for your suggestions.
I'm gonna take that world out of the .minecraft, uninstall MC, install and put it back into saves.
