So I've been trying to download pixelmon for days and lots of time trying to figure it all out without their support helping me, I finally figured it out. I'm currently running forge and pixelmon 1.7.10, but as soon as I went in a server, I automatically started experiencing large lag spikes every 3-10 seconds, my game just freezes for a second or so. So I asked a question and looked up about it and from what I read, it was something called auto save? And was also told you can't disable it or the best fix is optifine, so I just drag optifine 1.7.10 into my mods folder along with pixelmon. I go into the game and I have optifine installed. I go into a multiplayer server and have never seen worse lag in the past 5+ years. I have a pretty good PC, and I honestly don't know what the cause could be, I haven't played minecraft for about a year or so and came back just recently. Only thing I could thing of is that I have a lot of files on my computer, I mean a lot. Most games I play have pretty great fps on them, its just something with minecraft, any help? Thanks
