Due to a series of unfortunate events, I am trying to install Minecraft, straight from online, onto a Mac running 10.6.8. When I attempted to run the launcher, it informed me that it would not run on anything less than 10.8. It's an old laptop and I would rather not upgrade to Yosemite at this time. Is there a way I can download the Minecraft launcher that works on 10.6.8?
