I haven't played on Minecraft for several months, and when I came back, I couldn't log in.
I last logged in successfully on 1.8.9, and there's been no word after that. When I try to log in it says "Incorrect username or password" even though I'm 100% sure that both are correct. Then, when I try to download the game on a different computer, the Minecraft website tells me that I haven't bought Minecraft and that I can only play the demo version.
I have tried EVERYTHING including changing my password (it still tells me I'm incorrect). If you've had similar problems, please tell me and hopefully give me information on how I can solve this :(((
After 3 incorrect login attempts, a lockout is placed automatically by Mojang's systems on your network to protect accounts against brute force attacks to gain access.
This lockout is automatic, lasts for 3 hours, and cannot be overridden. Wait 3 hours, don't log in at all. Reset your password using https://account.mojang.com/password -- then try again.
If you still can't login after waiting contact Mojang
