One day I woke up and on my desktop there was a folder named tools and an EXE in it named NativeUpdater.exe I never downloaded it or run the exe but in properties and Virus total it seems to be signed by Mojang AB but when I google NativeUpdater.exe the results say its malware, so does anyone know what this file is? Is it virus or a legit Mojang file? How would I get rid of it? And if I have to reinstall minecraft how would I do that? How would I keep my worlds? And would I have to redownload Optifine
The only mods I have are Optifine and Air Locke shaders
I believe it comes from game crashes, not long ago I accidentally put game, runtime and Nativelog.txt in the recycle bin trying to figure out how to get them off my desktop, and when googling it again I have mixed results
I should probably try uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft but how do I do that and how do I keep my worlds and would I have to re download optifine
So as for worlds I just make a folder like on my desktop and move my worlds into that folder, same with my shaders pack and then move them back after I reinstall and will uninstalling minecraft from the control panel uninstall Game, runtime, nativelog, NativeUpdater and .minecraft from %appdata% or do I delete those on my own? One more question how do install minecraft so it doesn't put files all over my desktop? I don't believe Chrome gives an option to save the download somewhere

I never downloaded or installed it, unless Optifine installs other files on your PC
Look at the screenshots however, its signed by Mojang AB which is weird

This thread sounds like it came from a crash http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/support/unmodified-minecraft-client/2324393-error-code-5
This website says it signed and verified by Mojang and not a virus https://www.reasoncoresecurity.com/nativeupdater.exe-1439c51c4d84563aab6d3f37fba9bdabd023b1bf.aspx
This report says NativeUpdater.exe is ramnit https://www.reasoncoresecurity.com/nativeupdater.exe-a37f49aeec45886605233c12d92b01dfbcc07aa2.asp

Sorry for all the questions btw
will deleting .minecraft remove Game, Runtime and nativelog?
