For some reason Minecraft stutters (lag spike, whatever you wanna call it) hard when a door opens or closes or if im breaking crops but not when fighting mobs.
No mods installed, i've tried turning down my render distance to 2 and same thing happens, tried turning down all my graphics, nothing changes.
Its a smooth game until a door opens or closes which is just annoying, any ideas?
I've uploaded a picture, look on the bottom left. Im at a smooth 60fps until a door opens or closes and it stutters so bad. (Also some doors are worse than others which doesn't make any sense to me, not pictured)
Edit: Some more information, my PC specs are not a problem, i7 cpu, 16gb ram, gtx 980ti, etc.
Sounded possible but I turned off all my sounds and even restarted the game with no sound and nothing changed. Also i don't know how significant this is, but my cpu idles at about 7% (roughly) without doing anything in the game, opening a door raises it to 13~15% but no higher. Is this is problem with java?
Did some more testing and i'm clueless. I tried doing all those same things in another part of the world (out of render distance from my main base, about 10 chunks) and the game played flawlessly, no lag at all when opening/closing doors or breaking any blocks.
Very annoyed with this game right now.

Possibly sound related. Are your sounds working? Does the problem go away if you turn off sound in minecraft?
