My mom got logged off and couldn't remember her email account to log her back on . So I purchased a new account .
Today I was messing around trying to find a way to set cheats as "on" as the default.
I opened " launcher_profiles.json " with notepad.
Low and behold my new email address, the one I used to log-in, was located inside it.
Does that mean instead of buying a new account I could have read my old email address from this file?
I'm using windows 10 and went to restore to an earlier date, to be able to read the old file before it was written over, but restore points are not on by default on windows 10
Is there a log file, of all accounts used, somewhere else in the minecraft data where I can find her old email address?
There is no logs on saved emails addresses in minecraft. Forums cannot help you fix this problem, if you have a problem either figure out the lost email, or contact Mojang. They can only deal with account issues.

No results for "launcher_profiles.json" were found.
