I recently re-installed Minecraft as I got a new computer from my dad's job. What I notice on this new one is that Minecraft crashes immediately after pressing 'Play'. I don't know if it has to do with the hardware or software. On my old computer (which is broken), I never had this problem. Some specs on this new computer (the graphics I think) are exactly the same, if not similar. I made sure to download all drivers and updates for this computer too. I always make sure to give Minecraft 2GB of RAM because it lags with less. I used to use 1.9.4 which never had a problem. It does crash on this computer along with 1.10.2.

I think you've reached the limits of MC on that computer. The GPU is old. You can stick with lower versions of MC, or use a newer computer (newer as in age of hardware).

Can someone please help me? It's been four days already, and I still can't play Minecraft because of a problem I don't know of and can't solve.
