Hey so I just recently tried to log into my minecraft account and the email I used to create it no longer works? I know for a fact it is that email but it does not work. I bought the game back when it first came out and I do not want to re-buy it for $35.. I tried emailing them but I do not have ID purchase thing because it was so long ago. Can anyone help me out? Or is my only option emailing them and or buying the game again?

It is your responsibility to keep track of purchase ID's, you are responsibility for your account.

If your account is really old, and you never migrated it, then you should be logging in with your player name, not your email.
Only newer accounts or migrated accounts log in via email address.
