Hello! I'm wondering if there is anyway to decrease the memory usage when Minecraft forge starts up. I need to run 4 gigs just to make it through startup, but while I'm playing, the game only uses about 25% of the memory. I've noticed out of memory errors usually occurring during model reloading. I'm running about 32 mods on 1.10, but I could run fine with 70 mods on 1.7.10, with less memory. Does anyone have any suggestions to fix the problem?

Those are the arguments I used. After removing a mod or two (Botania and Baubles), I could get it to load with 3 gigs, but the main menu background was messed up and glitchy.
You can't run 4GB or higher otherwise the game will not work at all.
Trying 3GB? See what you get.
Otherwise i don't know what to tell you. The Mods your running cause too much load, find some mods you don't need and remove them? or i guess you can't run those mods on that pc.
Can you post the JVM Tags that you get in the crash report?
By removing some mods, I did manage to get it to work with 3 gigs. However, while it barely made it through start-up, the game only used a small portion of that memory while playing the actual game. That is why I was wondering why the game used a disproportionate amount of memory during loading.
Nonetheless, thanks for helping me!

Curse PremiumHow much memory does your system have installed in it?
Former everything.
How to get dxdiag
4 Gigs. 64-bit java, too. Mostly, I'm wondering why forge 1.10 needs so much memory during the startup.
