I just reinstalled Minecraft on my Windows 10 Laptop, and it was for free since I already owned it on the Mac, but for some reason, everytime I launch the game, all will seem well, but when I quit the game and it exits out of full screen, I will be greeted by a .txt file on my desktop called "nativelog". Once opened, it has the following:
Set run directory to C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft
Native Launcher Version: 307
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro
Application Hash: 40a55daa6845b0e1e797461386a218193b14e7d6
Application Data directory: C:\Users\htwine\AppData\Roaming
Executable Path: MinecraftLauncher.exe
App Directory dir: C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft
Start dir: C:/Program Files (x86)/Minecraft
Launcher dir: C:/Program Files (x86)/Minecraft/game
TmpDir dir: C:/Program Files (x86)/Minecraft/game
Java Launcher hash: ccb4a2df12fa3bd8c4d27ece46f692d12f91a01b
Java Version: 1.8.0_25
x64: 1
LauncherConfiguration from: https://launchermeta.mojang.com/mc/launcher.json
Downloaded config

Check to see if we can run the launcher
Native launcher is current
runJavaLauncher
Started application ./runtime/jre-x64/1.8.0_25/bin/java.exe -cp "C:/Program Files (x86)/Minecraft/game/launcher.jar" net.minecraft.launcher.Main --winTen --nativeLauncherVersion 307
Application still running, assuming all's fine.
Each time I remove it, it comes back every time I open Minecraft again.
Also, if I try to delete it while Minecraft is open, it won't let me and it will tell me that
"The action can't be completed because the file is open in Java(TM) Platform SE binary. Close the file and try again."
the version of the launcher that you have puts this file in the same folder as itself when it runs.
If you want it to not be on your desktop then put the launcher into some other folder (the nativelog will end up here) and only put a SHORTCUT to the launcher on your desktop.
Right click on the Minecraft Launcher on your desktop. Go to "Open File Location" and create a shortcut from MinecraftLauncher. Delete your old one and drag the new one to your desktop. It will stop creating nativelog and now use the one thats already in the Program Files (x86) > Minecraft folder

I don't always go mining, but when I do, I set the difficulty to peaceful.
Bonus points is you know what commercial that's from.
