Specs: GTX 960 SSC Intel I3 3220 8GB ram 1TB HD (if that matters). I recently reset my computer because there was too much random stuff on it i didn't need and it worked good for about a week and now it runs like my old computer. I cant stand to play like this. I get 180-200+ but it runs as if i am getting 30 fps.. Before i was getting 200+ steady and it ran like a dream. Here is a video of what it looks like. I recorded with Shadow Play so there are no FPS drops from recording. hopefully i am allowed to put links.
Making sure your close useless programs running in the background?
When you reset your computer you downloaded and installed the correct software and drivers. Done by googling the names of your motherboard, graphics card, hard drive? Most of the time you find the drivers on the company's website support page.
if you have it set right it then the game itself will be sluggish even though your getting high fps, eg: chopping a tree, destroying a chest to pick up the loot

I have optifine installed, I tried VSync and it helped some but it still feels laggy and sorta sluggish.

I best you its higher than 16
if you have it set right it then the game itself will be sluggish even though your getting high fps, eg: chopping a tree, destroying a chest to pick up the loot
View distance is at normal when i recorded i usually play normal aswell with fancy and no smooth lighting
