Hello. I am using the new Minecraft launcher and I want to edit things such as splashes and item names in 1.5.2 by editing my 1.5.2.jar. I have saved it as a new profile as per the directions here, but when I start MInecraft the .jar reverts to the original 1.5.2 jar. Please help.
