I make my own blocks/slabs (MCreator or DYI mod), with textures of vanilla planks, bricks or stone - but with properties as "glass" (not sound or hardness - only "material type"). Just no solid blocks.
Tested, passed, (my) problem solved.
I must only to change previously vanilla blocks above chests with these modded.

Minecraft 1.9 + FORGE 1.9-12.16.1.1887. No mods yet.

I cannot open right chest. Left chest I can open normally.
In MC 1.9 without Forge is all OK.
In MC 1.8 with Forge, Liteloader & lot of mods is all OK too.
This is a Forge bug or what should I set?

The same issue in Forge 1963 for MC 1.9.4 and in Forge 2000 for MC 1.10.
Anybody knows the last version of Forge, where there is opening of chests (under slabs) correct?
Any chance to repait it? I donť want rebuild lot of things in my 1.8 MC world :-)
