I Need Help with my minecraft shaders and i think it affects my minecraft performance as well,so i've been using quite a lot of shaders, then i realize in the bottom line there is a graphics card that i have,i have 2 graphics card one is Intel HD 5500[Trash] and the other one is Nvidia GeForce 920m,but the Optifine detects the Intel HD 5500 and so because of that i think that's why my minecraft performance is so low
[30-40fps without shaders],can anybody help me how to make minecraft detect the Nvidia GeForce Graphics Card?
Welcome to the wonderful world of "Nobody ever told me Laptops require more manual configuration the desktops".
Minecraft, as a Java application, is not considered a game by ANY automated detection system. Like, say ... Nvidia Optimus. As such it will NEVER run on the Nvidia card on any Laptop by default.
You need to manually set up a profile for the exact Java executable file used by Minecraft in Nvidia Control Panel 3d Application Settings. And redo it every time you change Java versions.
thx man,so i just need to add minecrafy to the 3d settings on my nvidia?
