Ok, first of all, i haven't been on the forums for a while so sorry if this is the wrong section for what i'm about to ask. So i recently got a new computer, and to be hounest made the mistake of buying a graphics card much more powerful than my processor. I have a GTX 960 and an AMD 6300 overclocked to 4.1 GHz, and allocate 4GB to minecraft. Now as i was using a laptop before that could get 60FPS fine in skyfactory 2.5, I assumed this processor would be well enough adequite to reach 60FPS, however i hounestly struggle to get a good 30FPS, even on a blank map. My question is, is this normal? and are there any known fixes that can help with this. I already have both fastcraft and optifine installed (might uninstall optifine as aparently it isnt officially supported). Any help would be well appreciated :).
My CPU maintains about 55 degrees Celsius while playing mine craft so I'm not sure it's the heat. I also disabled all shaders. For anyone else watching this thread, one odd improvement is to turn off all animations, it had a huge effect for some reason.

Curse PremiumRemove Fastcraft if you dont see any improvements. Is your build properly cooling down your processor? Are you using some crazy ass shaders?
