As the title states, I've got friends who are still on 7, and they can't upgrade to Win10 (yet) due to hardware incompatibilities.
So... can it work? Also I apologize my very first post is a tech support question. XD
yes it can, the java version is compatible with any computer that runs java, doesn't matter what OS it is running
