Ever since Minecraft updated to 1.10, I haven't been able to play it. I made a second profile for 1.9, and it works fine. However, every time I try to play 1.10, it says "java(TM) platform SE binary has stopped working". This has been going on since they released 1.10. I'm unable to even move once I load up a world, because whenever I try to move around (or click something) the message pops up. Often times it doesn't even load up the game enough to see a Minecraft world on the screen.
Here's what I've tried doing to fix the issue:
- Uninstall and reinstall Minecraft (at least 6 times)
- Uninstall and reinstall Java
- Updated my graphics drivers
- Deleted the jre-x64 folder from my minecraft so that it would re-download and setup the Java runtime
About my computer:
- Product name: HP ENVY 17 Notebook PC
- Product number: G0U21AV
- Runs on Windows 8
- This hasn't been a problem ever up until now, and it only started when I tried to run 1.10.
I've had help from a computer savvy person, but they are completely stumped as to what might be the problem, so if you have any information at all, I would greatly appreciate it.

Windows 8 is a terribale operating system. Go to windows 10 OR get the latest version of Java and try again. If that doesn't work, list your PC specs.
