I have been trying for the last 2 days to set up a Lan connection with my roommate for Minecraft. Here is what info I can provide.
He is hosting, as it is his world.
We both use Windows 10
We both are using ATLauncher.
We both are using the Resonant Rise Mainline Pack, RRV3 3.4.0.2
We both have the exact same mods from that pack installed.
We both have gone into our firewall and set Java Platform SE Binary to allow, as well as Minecraft.
We both have set our firewalls to accept the new port each time we try to create the Lan.
I have added his IP to my firewall to be accepted.
I have both tried to Direct Connect as well as connect from the listed Lan.
I have done the biggest "NO" in my rules and turned off my firewall.
All these things I have done have not worked. These are every fix that I could find.
It would be wonderful to work on a world with my best friend and not have to play on a server.

UPDATED -
Ok we did not turn off his Firewall. So we tried it and I was able to go to his world. Not a fan of not having Firewall on at all, but that did work.
Anyone have any idea of how to fix this WITHOUT turning off the firewall?
