At first I thought it was because of Mineplex and other large servers, and thought that it was my modem which couldn't take such a huge amount of people in the server.
But it kept restarting my modem every time with smaller servers. Now I can't even play in a server with only 100 people, and restarts the same way. So it's definitely not my modem.
Whenever it does, it shows this message

"restarting my modem"
What does this mean exactly? If you have an external device that is rebooting then that device has a problem.
