I've played Minecraft for more hours than I can count and it's always ran fine. Even on the same cpu I'm using right now it used to run great(I know the 6300 isn't a great CPU but it's decent)
So i installed MC today it doesn't seem to matter if the settings are all off/minimum and at a 2 chunk distance(sits around 45fps)
OR if they are all maximum/fancy at a 32 chunk distance.(around 30 or less)
The fps is still way too low.
I've tried changing the RAM allocation, I updated Java, I checked the F3 page to make sure it was using the right drivers for my card and Java, etc. IDK what else to do.
Any help is appreciated.
