Hi, so I was playing on my server with my friends, and when they left I still wanted to modify some things. I have a small amount of bandwidth available left for this month, so I was trying to conserve it by moving the world to singleplayer. However, when I do this, my inventory and all of the things in my chests are from a previous save. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Or if it's just supposed to be like that?

Curse PremiumIf I understand this correctly, it looks as though the server hadn't saved before you moved it to singleplayer.

Thanks for the quick response.
Is there a force save command for the server, or something similar to that?

Curse PremiumTyping in stop into the server console should save the server.

Curse PremiumOr try save-all.

It's still not working. I tried both commands but they both have the same result.
Also, to expand on that, the world itself saves. it's only the inventories that are different.
This is just one of those things you can't do anything about.
When playing on a server, or as a LAN guest, your inventory is stored in a player specific file.
When playing a single player world, your inventory is stored in level.dat (a player specific file is written to, but not read from, as host)
(and the formats are not the same, so you can't just copy the player file to level.dat, that will break your world)

Curse PremiumIt looks like the player.dat files are not saving with the rest of the world. Can you post a server log file?

Or using NBTEdit or similar to edit the players file and set it to you
