When I try to play minecraft a1.0.4 and up it launches this error message:
Bad video card drivers!
-----------------------
Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode.
This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers.

Curse PremiumPost a DXDiag report. Hate to say it, but I bet your laptop isn't up to snuff for newer version of MC (1.8+).
"We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far."
It turns out that my device is incompatible with minecraft. Well thanks for the help.
